Speaking with Paula Zárraga, the Head of Product for Hangar Central, she explained to us that their main concern was missing their time to market goals. This was due to a lack of in-house development resources and their high cost, as well as lacking a proper methodology to create a functioning product like Hangar Central.
With a clear vision for the product, coupled with the above mentioned limitations, Hangar Central was in a position where constant pushbacks of the launch would stop the product from ever seeing the light of day.
Hangar Central needed an agile development team with a fast ramp-up, and didn’t have the ability to manage the team internally. They needed cost-effective tech resources with experience delivering projects from end to end, using the latest and best coding practices. On top of that, they needed a bench of available resources to be able to accelerate product development as needed.
To make sure that the product was released on time, the macro vision was broken down into different deliverables. The first of them was the MVP with the necessary features for a live beta release, so that subsequent releases could be built upon it to reach the desired end product.
