The Challenge
The main priority for Opal fast to accelerate their development process and that way ensure their budgetary concerns would be met. Through Fast Ramp-Up, we were able to provide them with adequate solutions that were also budget efficient.
We needed to also work with the client’s own inhouse Tech, which used Bluetooth LE and Raspberry Pi, which we needed to integrate into the development cycle of the Android and iOS apps. Said tech also proved challenging due to technological limitations, evolving into an Envoy Station with microcontrollers.
The Solution
The project requires a mix of fast and efficient communication, both external and internal, as well as our inherent adaptability to new technologies. This approach, as well as using alternative technologies to speed up the software development process, pushes the project forward and allows for the team to understand what are the best solutions for the job.
This is how we came to use microcontrollers over a Raspberry Pi, and integrating AWS Lambda for capturing real time data.
